OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM DEPLOYMENTS HIT LODI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Five members of the Lodi Police Department have been deployed on active military duty in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Deputy Chief Vincent Quatrone (Lieutenant US Navy Reserve), Captain Christopher Schrieks (Lt. Colonel US Army National Guard), Captain Ernest Iodaci (Staff Sergeant US Army National Guard), Police Officer Ana Cordoba (Private 1st Class US Army National Guard) and Disp. Michael Martyn (Private 1st Class US Army National Guard). These current deployments will be for a period of at least one year.

With this deployment, the police department has lost more than 10% of our staff in support of the military efforts overseas. The Lodi Police Department and the Borough of Lodi supports our employees who have been called to serve their country in the fight on global terrorism.

Please remember them and their families in your prayers as well as all servicemen and woman in the military for a safe and quick return home.

The Lodi Police Department announces the launch of a new partnership with the web site....

CrimeReports.com

Effective immediately the Lodi Police Department has joined partners with CrimeReports.com to provide up-to-date crime information to our residents. Previously on our web site we had a feature called "Police Blotter". We have now partnered with CrimeReports.com to provide mapping capabilities to our residents to see crime reports in your area based on your address. This advanced technology also alows residents to sign up, FREE of charge to receive email alerts in your neighborhood to crimes that may affect you now or in the future. This is just another step we are taking to insure that our residents do not become victims of crimes that may be occuring in their area. We are only the second agency in the state to provide this information to our residents and continue to stay on top of cutting edge technology for our residents and department.

Feel free to tell your neighbors and friends and sign up for this FREE feature we are now offering to everyone.
